This Privacy Policy explains how Jake Team LLC (“we,” “us”) collects and uses information when you use SpotTheFit (spotthefit.ai).

Information we collect

• Account information. If you create an account: your email address and authentication data (managed by our infrastructure provider, Supabase).
• Photos you submit. Images you upload for outfit identification are transmitted to third-party AI providers for automated analysis. Images submitted for identification are processed and are not published unless you explicitly publish them through a sharing feature.
• Usage data. Standard server logs and privacy-focused hosting analytics (via Vercel), such as pages visited and approximate region. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
• Cookies. We use essential cookies only — for authentication sessions. No advertising cookies.

How we use information

• To provide the Service: analyzing photos, maintaining accounts, enforcing usage limits.
• To improve the Service: aggregate, de-identified usage statistics.
• To communicate with you: service emails such as price-drop alerts you request.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded photos for advertising.

Third parties we rely on

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
• Vercel — hosting and analytics
• AI providers (e.g., via OpenRouter) — automated image analysis, under their respective terms
• Amazon— product links (Amazon sets its own cookies when you follow an affiliate link, under Amazon’s privacy policy)
• Stripe (when subscriptions launch) — payment processing; we never see or store full card numbers

Data retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing info@jaketeam.com; we will action verified requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, email info@jaketeam.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

People featured on the site

Public gallery pages reference public figures by name and display content via official platform embeds or low-resolution editorial imagery. If you are featured and want content corrected or removed, see our Correction & Removal page — we honor removal requests promptly.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
